THALI – (Tuberculosis Health Action Learning Initiative) - led by World Health Partners (WHP) , in collaboration with consortium members Child in Need Institute (CINI) , John Snow India (JSI) , and Global Health Strategies (GHS) aims to strengthen TB control efforts in West Bengal by engaging and networking private qualified providers , chemist shop , and diagnostic facilities using a technology - based reporting platform and an inclusive service delivery model for appropriate TB diagnosis and treatment and we are responsible for 16 wards of Howrah Municipalities.
DOTS – (Directly Observed Treatment ) - The National TB Programme (NTP) was started 1962 for TB control in India . As a result of the review and pilot studies in 1993, the DOTS strategy was adopted in India under the Revised National TB Control Programme. We have operated in 4 blocks of Howrah, namely Sankrail, Panchla, Domjur and Devipur with support from Catholic Bishops Conference of India-CBCI
Textiles - Mobilizing local zari and embroidery workers, tailors - both male and female to support them for their economic growth as well as skill development through the state and central Ministry of Textiles funded scheme
GSDS - (Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti) -This organization held Women Awareness and Empowerment Programme.
